Stephen is Partner – Later Living at Pollard Thomas Edwards (PTE), an architecture practice with five decades of experience designing homes, neighbourhoods, public and mixed-use buildings throughout the United Kingdom. Stephen has spent more than 20 years’ delivering residential projects in both the UK and Ireland. He leads PTE’s Later Living team which has delivered exemplar cohousing developments (including the much celebrated New Ground, in Barnet, for older women) as well as independent-living homes embedded within larger regeneration developments, mixed-tenure retirement schemes, extra care and residential care homes.
